What we collect
When you request a free quote through our website, we collect the information you provide in that form: your name, phone number, ZIP code, preferred date, the type of service and material you're describing, and any details you add. If you check the box asking us to text you, we record that choice and the time you made it. We also automatically record the IP address, browser information, and the page you submitted the form from, for security and record-keeping.
If you call us instead, we also collect the phone call itself. See Phone calls are recorded below.
Why we collect it
We use this information for one purpose: to call or text you back and give you a free onsite quote for junk removal service. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not sell it.
Phone calls are recorded
Phone calls to and from Econo Dump, LLC are recorded. We record calls so we have an accurate record of what was quoted, what was scheduled, and what a customer asked us to do, and to train our own staff. Recordings may include anything you say on the call, such as your name, your address, and the details of the job.
Recordings are kept for 12 months from the date of the call and are then deleted. Only the owner and the office staff who handle quotes and scheduling can listen to them. We do not sell recordings, and we do not share them with anyone else except where the law requires it.
If you would rather not be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will stop the recording or continue by text or email instead. You can also ask us for a copy of a recording of your own call, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
California requires everyone on a call to agree before it is recorded (California Penal Code sections 632 and 632.7, with a right to sue under section 637.2). This paragraph is how we tell you, so you can decide before you speak. This description is current as of August 2026 and should be verified against the current text of the law.
Text message consent
Checking the text-message box on the quote form is entirely optional. You will receive your free quote whether or not you check it. If you do check it, we may text you updates about your specific request. Your consent to be texted is never shared with any third party for marketing purposes, and you can reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep a quote request for 24 months. Once we mark a request as closed or as spam, we keep it for 12 months and then delete it. Call recordings are covered separately, above.
If you'd like your information removed sooner, contact us using the details below and we will delete it. That is a real button in our system, not a promise we can't keep. We can delete a single quote request on request.
One honest caveat: we take backup copies of our system, and those backups expire on their own schedule. So a record you asked us to delete can still exist inside an older backup for a while after it is gone from the live system. Backups are used only to restore the system after a failure, and they age out over time.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your information and we do not give it to advertisers or data brokers. The only outside party that handles it is the company that hosts this website and our systems, which stores the data on our behalf. Our phone service is Twilio: it carries our calls and stores the recorded audio on our behalf, on our instructions, until we delete it at 12 months. Beyond that, we would only hand information over if the law required it (for example a subpoena), or if you asked us to.
This website loads everything it needs from our own server. Visiting a page does not send your visit to any other company.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site does not track visitors across websites or over time, so there is nothing for that signal to switch off, and we do not respond to it. We also do not let anyone else track visitors here.
Seeing or correcting your information
If you have sent us a quote request, you can ask us what we have, ask us to fix anything that's wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us using the details below. To protect you, we may ask a question or two to confirm you are the person who sent the request.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies or run any advertising or analytics scripts. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top, so you can tell at a glance whether anything has moved since you last read it. If a change is a significant one (collecting something new, or using what we already have in a new way), we will say so in plain language at the top of this page. Please check back from time to time.
Contact us
If you have questions about this policy or would like your information deleted, contact us at [email protected] or (800) 382-3867, or write to us at P.O. Box 901425, Palmdale, CA 93590.
