Our commitment

Econo Dump, LLC wants this website to work for everyone who wants to book junk removal, including people who use a screen reader, navigate with a keyboard instead of a mouse, need larger text, or find low-contrast text hard to read. We treat that as part of doing the job properly, not as an extra.

What we're aiming for

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard most commonly used to judge whether a website is usable by people with disabilities. It is our target, and we are not claiming we have fully met it.

What we test

Every time we change the site's code, an automated accessibility test (axe-core) runs against representative pages: the homepage, a service page, an area page, and our policy pages. It is set to report problems at every severity level, not just the worst ones, and it is passing today. If a change breaks something it can detect, the test fails and the change doesn't ship.

What we haven't finished

Being honest about this matters more than sounding finished. Automated tools of this kind only catch roughly 30 to 40 percent of real accessibility problems. They are good at measuring things like color contrast and missing labels, and blind to whether a page actually makes sense to use. A full keyboard-only walkthrough and a hands-on screen-reader pass across the site have not been done yet. They are planned, and until they are done there may well be problems on this site that our testing has not found.
